The Southwest Art 2011 Emerging Artists Competition is now closed for entries. Judging is in progress. See below for information on the prizes being awarded and notification information.

First Place Award: $2,000
Second Place Award: $1,000
Third Place Award: $500
18 Honorable Mentions: $100 worth of North Light BooksWinners will be published in the September 2011 issue of Southwest Art and on our website. All winners and finalists will receive a certificate suitable for framing. PLUS one lucky winner will be chosen for the cover of Southwest Art.

NOTIFICATIONS
All winners will be notified by September 1, 2011. The results will not otherwise be made public until they are published in Southwest Art (September 2011 issue). Non-winning entrants will not be individually notified of the results. Your cancelled check or credit-card charge will be notification for receipt of your entry.
