William Trost Richards Exhibition in California
Now through September 26, the famous landscape paintings of
William Trost Richards are on display in “William Trost Richards—True to Nature: Drawings, Watercolors and Oil Sketches at Stanford University.”
Seventy-five drawings, watercolors and small oil studies
are included in the exhibition.
Abstract Art of the Americas Celebrated in Texas
“Constructive Spirit: Abstract Art in South and North America, 1920s-50s” was organized by the Newark Museum of Art and is open at the Amon Carter Museum now through September 5. Approximately 80 pieces of seldom-seen work are on display, including paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, drawings and films.
