Incredible New Resource for Acrylic Artists

Our
annual editorial survey tells us that a surprising number of watercolor
artists also paint with acrylics. Perhaps it’s the
incredible versatility of the medium that makes it such a popular
alternative. If you’re one of the artists who answered
“yes” to an interest in acrylics, you’ll be pleased to know that Kelly Kane, editor of Watercolor Artist, was one of three editors who contributed to a special new issue that hits newsstands today: Acrylic Artist. Here’s what to expect when you pick up your copy:

Full of step-by-step demonstrations, creative painting ideas and inspirational artwork, Acrylic Artist
offers something for everyone. The material in this special issue
covers basic tools and materials (for those just getting started) as
well as innovative and experimental techniques that incite new
discovery. Whether your interest is in painting, surface design, collage
or mixed-media, this is a publication that’s sure to expand your
