This morning a bright, painterly light was cast on my rainy drive to work. Playing on NPR’s Morning Edition was a story about impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. A new film titled Renoir was given a rave review, and a little known secret was also revealed: the real Renoir was captured on film in 1915!
