Graffiti Murals Give Young Artists an Opportunity

808 Urban is a collective of artists and community organizers in Hawaii who are committed to working in low-income neighborhoods by advocating for social change and creating environments that improve the quality of residents’ lives. They also strive to empower local youth through art. These graffiti murals provide these talented kids with a creative outlet, an opportunity to make decisions about their community and to contribute to the preservation of Hawaiian culture.
