??ren?s Art Project
These greeting cards were designed by children who are patients at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. As part of the Children?s Art Project, the sale of these cards raises money for programs that help children with cancer live more normal lives. Programs made possible by the project include music and art therapy, summer camp, in-hospital classrooms, college scholarships and cancer research. In addition to cards, the project offers T-shirts, aprons, gift bags, silk scarves, ties and other items featuring the creative work of young patients. Last year proceeds from gift and card sales totaled $1.2 million. This massive fund-raising effort is made possible by thousands of volunteers. For more information about the project check out
