Playing Field: An Exhibition of Works by Street Artists

Carmichael Gallery in Culver City, California is currently hosting “Playing Field,” featuring original works from Banksy, Faile, Shepard Fairey, Sixeart, Mark Jenkins, JR, Barry McGee, Jose Parla, Judith Supine, Swoon, Titi Freak and Dan Witz. The exhibition is open through July 9.

Street artists are loved and hated., tolerated and excluded, yet no one can deny the impact they have had on art in the 21st century. The success of artists such as Banksy and Shepard Fairey has transformed what was once a small underground movement into mainstream popular culture.
