Strawberry Hill | Celebrated in Art

John Iddon Fine Art in London is to present a unique collection of paintings of the 18th century Gothic Mansion and home of Horace Walpole, the enchanting Strawberry Hill.

Strawberry Hill, the inspiration for buildings such as St Pancras Station and the Houses of Parliament, opened to the public last year after a £9 million restoration, and has become one the London’s leading visitor attractions.

This one-off series of paintings brings together a variety of artistic interpretations of the building from artists including the acclaimed Mary Feddon and Sir Hugh Casson. John Iddon Fine Art will present the collection at this years Art London (October 6-10, 2011) where visitors will be able to view these artistic interpretations altogether. Twenty percent of proceeds will go towards the Strawberry Hill Trust.
