The Oil Spill Tragedy

No matter what our opinions or political beliefs, one thing that I think everyone can agree on is that the recent BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a tragedy on many levels, particularly concerning the environment and economy.

Paul Jackson is expressing his thoughts on the oil spill via his paintings and his passionate blog posts regarding how artists can make a difference for the outcome.

I’d like to encourage you to check it out, and share your input as well.

I agree, if only to offset the sense of despair. I grew up on the Gulf, in St. Petersburg Beach, where shore birds were so plentiful and sea turtles’ nests were marked by Caution tape.
