Day of the Dead Watercolors

Thanks to The Bloggess for pointing us in the direction of the über cool Day-of-the-Dead-inspired portrait of Oregon artist Rachael Rossman. Rossman, who works primarily with watercolor on YUPO, created this piece in effort to gear up for a Dia de los Muertos painting project, she says.

“The first person that came to mind was Jenny, The Bloggess. She’s the kind of gal you can say, ‘Hey, I’m painting you with a skull face.’ And she’s like, ‘Alright then.’ ”
