Noir-ish filmmaker David Lynch’s fine art works are currently on display for the first time in Germany, in David Lynch — Dark Splendor, through March 21 at the Max Ernst Museum in Ruehl. Some of the 150 pieces are on view for the first time ever, such as a series of watercolors.
Lynch was an art student before he turned to filmmaking, so it’s only natural that his fine art aesthetics mirror his cinematic style. Check it out if you’re in Germany.
