Best Sellers From Our Bookstore A Handy Way to Display Your Wares
by Beverly Harrel of Beaumont, Texas
To store my paintings so they're easily accessible, I modified a large wooden luggage stand (the kind you see in hotel rooms). I replaced the canvas straps with leather ones that would allow the stand to open approximately 20 inches wide. I then installed a broad canvas sling that hung down from the upper rungs and could hold finished paintings, mats or watercolor papers. These stands are also great for displaying my watercolors at art shows and festivals. With paintings organized in these convenient stands, buyers find it easy to browse through my work.
