Welcome to the brand new ArtistsNetwork.com! From this hub, you can view hundreds of articles, galleries and videos from The Artist’s Magazine, Watercolor Artist and The Pastel Journal. You can also join our online communities, find back issues, explore our artist resources and enter our competitions!

The new site was designed with the artist in mind—our articles are now categorized according to medium and genre. It underwent a total overhaul, so we’d like to walk you through how our new site works.

 
You can go to the home page of any of our magazines by clicking on the links in the upper right corner of the site. You can see the latest featured artists and articles from each magazine on those homepages.


You can browse our article archives by clicking on Articles on the left end of the blue navigation bar. Then select a magazine, category, medium or genre in the drop-down menus. You can also search for a keyword or phrase in the search box in the upper right corner.


Learn more about our Artists Network and WetCanvas online forums by clicking on Community in the blue navigation bar. From there you can connect with other artists from around the world!


We’ve rounded up all six of our blogs in the Blogs tab of the navigation bar. The Competitions tab directs you to information about The Artists’ Magazine Annual Competition and the Pastel 100. Click on Audio/Video to watch our latest demonstrations and slideshows.


Clicking on the Magazines tab of the navigation bar will take you to the current issues of The Artist’s Magazine, Watercolor Artist and The Pastel Journal, and link you to our back issues store, where you can find past issues.


You can see what articles are newest to the site in the tan box on the right, and if you click the Most Popular tab, you can see which stories the most people are reading. If you come across an article you’d like to share with a fellow artist, click on Tell a Friend at the bottom right of the page.


At the bottom of the page, we get down to the nitty-gritty with information on who we are, how to contact us and advertise with us. You can manage your subscription from the link at the bottom of the page.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding more articles, tweaking the site and making adjustments. Please be patient with us as we wrap things up. We hope you enjoy the new site!
