HOW TO PAINT A ROCK HAMBURGER by Lin Wellford
ABOUT THE AUTHOR | Lin Wellford
After a childhood in Florida, living in the Arkansas Ozarks gave Lin Wellford a true appreciation for all the wonderful rocks and stones that line creek beds, beaches and country roads there and all over the world. She’s developed a missionary’s zeal for spreading the word that rock painting is not only an inexpensive and exciting art form, but also a fabulous tool for helping people discover and connect with their own creative natures.
The popularity of her “rock books” has been a pleasant surprise, leading to television appearances and other opportunities to spread the word about rocks as a fabulous art material for people of all ages and abilities. Her first book, The Art of Painting on Rocks, did so well she published an entire line for North Light Books on various ways to use rocks as unique works of art.
The mother of three grown daughters, Lin continues to paint, write and collect rocks in Green Forest, Arkansas. Visit her website at linwellford.com.
