Antonio Masi was born in Italy in 1940 and immigrated to America with his family in 1947. After graduating from the School of Industrial Art (now the High School of Art and Design) in New York City, he graduated with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York and later received his bachelor of arts degree in art history from the City University of New York. In 1969, Masi with his three brothers founded the graphic arts business Ads ’n Color, where Masi worked as a full, active partner between 1979 and 2000, before devoting himself full time to art.
