Columbus Museum of Art: Art Madness

If you live in the United States, chances are that you’re familiar with the predictable patterns that inevitably take over in March: usurped living rooms and TVs, filled sports bars, and old college jerseys, shaken out of dusty cardboard boxes. I’m talking, of course, about March Madness. Here’s a fun variation provided by the Columbus Museum of Art for those who are less inclined to play sports, and more inclined to study the smooth fluidity in the players bodies, the shapes on the court and color values in those bright uniforms. Instead of sports teams, this unique bracket sets two paintings against each other in a showdown of the art.
