Get Art Smart: A Reading List

In the December 2010 issue of The Pastel Journal, artist Sally Loughridge describes 13 healthy art habits that artists can adopt to nourish their practice of painting. For additional reading, Loughridge compiled the following reading list with recommendations from fellow artists Annie Merrill, Caren-Marie Michel, and Léa Peterson:
