In this Artists Network Online Event, Ron gives you a preview of the instruction found in his book and he talks about how to paint rippled water. Ripples add character and realism to water in your art. Together, explore the relaxing world of rippled water.

Ron hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a retired engineering professor. He has been painting in transparent watercolor for over 40 years and has been teaching watercolor painting workshops for 35 years.

Ron is a signature member of the prestigious Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and a signature member of the Society of Canadian Artists.

Ron paints a wide variety of subject matter, but is best known for his marine paintings. Ron’s marine paintings have twice been featured in American Artist Watercolor Magazine and his works have been published in the International Artist magazine. His works have been juried into the book, Best of Worldwide Landscape Artists, one of his marine paintings is featured as the book’s cover.

Ron’s work can be found in the Teichert Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Lyghtesome Gallery in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
