From September 22-23, 2012, The Art Students League of New York will be presenting a mixed media workshop by Lisa L. Cyr, Experimental Painting: Inspirational Approaches in Mixed Media. During this hands-on workshops, 12 lucky students will get to receive instruction from Cyr including multiple demonstrations on 2-D and 3-D mixed-media techniques: employing alternative working grounds, using custom tools, toning the painting surface in imaginative ways, creating a tactile ground, building the visual architecture and utilizing innovative mixed-media techniques to create intriguing effects.
