Gabriela Gonzalez Dellosso is a lover of horror flicks, science fiction, clowns, anything Bette Davis and the painters Georges de la Tour, Rembrandt, Norman Rockwell and Andrew Wyeth. Her father, also a talented painter, took her frequently to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and the experience cultivated a love of art history. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City, which she attended after studying psychology for three years at New York University. After SVA, she honed her skills at New York’s Art Students League and National Academy School of Fine Arts. Now an award-winning New Jersey artist, she balances painting and teaching at the National Academy and the Manhattan branch of the Jewish Community Center.
