Oil Portraits by Lauren Tilden

Always eager to improve her craft, Lauren Tilden finds inspiration in the works of contemporary and historical masters alike. After completing her studies at the University of Delaware, in Newark, she received a master of fine arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, in Philadelphia, where she studied under Sidney Goodman, Vincent Desiderio and Patrick Connors. A recent grant recipient from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation, Tilden currently shows with Artists’ House Gallery, in Philadelphia.
