Painting With Dots (test)

Just as with any other application of paint, you have to remain aware of which are the light and dark areas, and which are the warm and cool areas. It’s possible to paint a full composition just with dots. From a distance the forms appear to be solid color, but up close the surface sparkles.

Until only a few years ago, P. Michael Kotasek made his living as an illustrator and then as a landscape gardener. “I went back to art because of the influence of my niece. When I saw the pure enjoyment she got from drawing and coloring, it reminded me of the joy I’d originally felt about art.”
