Al Stine graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine Art and did additional studies at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. A past president of the Artist Guild of Chicago, he belongs to the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (formerly the Midwest Watercolor Society), the American Society of Marine Artists and the South Carolina Watercolor Society, among others. As an instructor he?s taught all over the United States and in Spain, Mexico and Canada, and he?s written two books and made eight teaching videos. He?s received many awards and his works are in several corporate and private collections around the world.
