I only have stick pastels, about 75 of them. I’m not buying any more, I think I can mix colors. My question is being a beginner at pastels in all forms, how should I handle my pastels to coincide with your pan pastels?
    Thank you,
    Linda

Just wanted to say how I appreciate your generous spirit and attention to detail
in getting these classes out in their best possible form. It’s a good thing you are detail oriented.
I believe you have your left brain under control because you are detail oriented
when necessary in painting and it doesn’t get away from you, and you use it when teaching.

Part 3 of the June 10th class does not play. It flashes open then immediately closes showing the size of the file as 0 in the player, even though it shows 468mb in the unopened file. The other 2 parts are ok.

I am downloading again and see the file is larger than mine so I will give that a try. Maybe my other download was corrupted. I’ll let you know when I try to play it if it is working this time.

      • sewnsew43 says:

No change. The file is only 1mb larger than mine and still does not play.

        • sewnsew43 says:

Strange as it seems this file opens in real player and not vlc player like the other 2 so it does work ok.

For those with Mac computers these files are FLV which are native to Adobe software. The very best player for these is the Flash Media Player from Adobe. It should easily play any of your flash files and I have successfully played all of the available downloads on it with my Mac computers. You can find it here http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Other possibilities are VLC or on newer machines Quicktime itself but you may need to open it with by
Holding down the Control key, clicking on the file and choosing the Open With option and then click on the program you want to use to open. Hope some of these solutions get you watching on your mac.

I downloaded June 3 but could not open it either. A lot of download time and bytes used up, I have limited amount, so would appreciate a fix before I try again. Thanks! Looking forward to the info and program.

  6. vdriggers says:

I have all the downloads except Jun5 Part 2. All the others play fine. Am I the only one with a problem with this one?

  7. kp says:

Before I could open the files on my mac, I had to download an “unarchiver”. Then they opened, no problem!

  8. randil says:

I am on a mac and these are Adobe Flash files. Download the free Adobe Media Reader from adobe.com
    That will open them.

  9. artzy says:

I downloaded the files and then extracted them from the zip file, but the video does not show the paint along, just the half finished picture and then there is some talk in the background. Can someone help me with this?

  10. relister says:

I cannot download these files. I have a mac and the format is not compatible with my mac.
