Two Weeks Left: Enter Drawing’s 2014 Shades of Gray Competition!

The deadline for the 2014 Shades of Gray Competition is September 8–only two weeks left! This competition offers artists an opportunity for their accomplishments to be recognized in Drawing magazine. To enter, a work must be created entirely in black, white and gray in media including, but not limited to, graphite, charcoal, pastel, chalk, colored pencil, pen-and-ink, ballpoint pen, and mixed media.

The grand prize winner takes home $1,000 cash, has their work featured in Drawing magazine and is supplied with a one-year subscription to Drawing. Other prize opportunities include:

  • $500 cash

SECOND RUNNER-UP

  • $300 cash
  • Winning artwork featured in Drawing magazine

Honorable Mentions

Honorable mentions (up to 10 artists) will be featured in Drawing and get a one-year subscription to Drawing.
