Don’t miss the exhibition “Lebbeus Woods, Architect,” at The Drawing Center, in New York City. And even if you can’t attend in person, it’s worth taking a look at this artist’s interesting work.
Throughout his career, architect Lebbeus Woods has created a narrative on how construction can be transformative. Working mostly with graphite on paper, Woods depicts complex worlds that present shifts, cycles and repetitions within the built environment. “Lebbeus Woods, Architect” brings together works from the past 40 years and centers on transformation as a recurring theme, providing a framework for understanding the experimental nature of the work.
“Lebbeus Woods, Architect” runs through June 15th at The Drawing Center. To see more work by this intriguing artist, visit http://lebbeuswoods.net, and to learn about more great exhibitions, subscribe to Drawing magazine!
