An empty Beano bottle makes an excellent instrument for applying rubber cement as masking. Simply pop off the small pointed top to pour in the rubber cement. (If the fluid cement is too thick, thin it with rubber cement solvent.) The bottle’s pointed top allows you either to create fine lines of masking or cover larger areas. When you’re finished, replace the cap to preserve the rubber cement for your next painting session.
