Finding the perfect bags to carry my art supplies in was a long-time dilemma for me. Many art bags either dont hold enough or dont close well and all my supplies fall out. Finally, I found a surprising solutionI now use a diaper bag to transport my supplies. It holds my large palette, plus up to a 12 x 16 block of watercolor paper. The front pocket has a place for all my brushes and pencils. The sturdy bag can carry a large bottle of water, rulers, sponges and more. As a disabled artist, I travel in a wheelchair, so I either drape it over the back of my chair or carry it in my lap. Its waterproof and washable, and each pocket zips to hold supplies in place. I even use the changing padI drop it down on the grass, lower myself to the ground and paint in comfort. The diaper bag is perfect for painting indoors or outdoorsfor artists with or without physical disabilities.
