Painting is a deep and vast ocean. It is a world full of possibilities. And while I am deeply drawn to that wide-open aspect of it, I'm also super intimidated by it too! I feel like there is no limit to what I can learn, and while I'm thirsty for it, it sometimes it feels like drinking from a fire hose!

So that's why I plan and focus on how to paint in ways that inspire me. For one, I want to learn more about how to start painting. Should I tone my surface? Prime it? Stain it? This one decision can have far-reaching effects, so I want to know more about each of these possibilities.
Then there is figuring out how to build up my surface without the painting looking sloppy and just "textured" for texture's sake. And that means having a better understanding of brushwork and mark making, and discovering what one painting brush can do for a painter over another.
There's absolutely no end of reasons why I need to learn more fine art painting tips on making corrections. I don't know how many times I've been in a situation and I said to myself, "Did I just do that? Why did I just do that?" If I learned how to alleviate this almost hysterical reaction with a more research and some self-administered painting lessons, I'd feel more confident in the studio.
Fortunately, our Artist Daily team has heard my cries. Our newest free eBook, Step-by-Step Painting Techniques: Learn to Paint with Free Painting Tips on Making Corrections, Paint Texture, and Painting Materials, is tailored to these aspects of painting with a capital 'T.' And that's not only because my peeps at Artist Daily pity me and are sick of hearing me sob (half-kidding). It is mostly because these painting lessons are fundamental.
In Step-by-Step Painting Techniques: Learn to Paint with Free Painting Tips on Making Corrections, Paint Texture, and Painting Materials, you'll find the same techniques you would learn in painting courses all across the country, but this time you don't have to go anywhere or pay a thing for them.
