The New York Times reports that the company that owns more than half the advertising spaces atop the Big Apple’s taxis is going to be filling those spots with art in January. Show Media called on the nonprofit Art Production Fund to recruit Shirin Neshat, Yoko Ono and Alex Katz. The artists were challenged to create 14×48-inch works that are able to communicate with rapidly moving audiences. Read more at The New York Times.
