In this video, urban sketching artist Marc Taro Holmes shares a fix-it tip he uses to cover up ink smudges in his sketchbook. Follow along to watch as he uses white gouache (you can add color as needed) to bring back the “whites” of his paper. This technique is also good for adding splashes of water or sparkle to your seascape, capturing light in your landscape painting by adding holes in your tree foliage, and more.
