Fun to be back drawing with you after delving into my painting quite a bit since CoVid hit.
This was my first session with you Scott, I am planning on taking all the rest
This was my first session with you Scott, I am planning on taking all the rest, thanks for sharing
Fun working on this, especially the boards!
Digital Drawing using photoshop brushes
This was a interesting drawing. Lots of texture and Lots of shingles.
This is a great process shot!
This looks great! I love the value range here, as well as the variety of textures.
I love this! Nice texture with these materials. It captures the spirit and character of the building nicely.
Love the color — and the way the background peaks through the holes. What medium did you use? Acrylic paint, pastel??
Overall, I’m pleased with the drawing….. not a masterpiece, but fine for my sketchbook. Yeah, my roof pillars are way off, ? but I’m working in pen and ink so difficult to change. Really enjoy these drawing events, thank you so much for continuing them weekly.
Finally, my first participation here.
“A Cabana”
A CABANA, is on the way. I will post the final version as soon as I can. Drawing on Canson Imagine 200gr A4 and the tools you can see on the picture.
This looks great!
Hello! There’s no time limit for sharing your work. I look forward to seeing your drawing!
Until when can I share my drawing?
wanted to keep working on this thought i would share this for now
Wonderful interpretation, Claude!
Great job with this!
Wonderful work here!
This looks great!
Dear Scott
Unfortunately I couldn’t take part in the live lesson last Wednesday, so I was only able to upload it now.
Kind regards Pia
Scott, that was a great, but challenging subject from perspective point of view. The very last pole on the right of the cabin, and the angle of the roof above it, were the troublesome points of the drawing for me. I think they don’t look perfect, but good enough. 12×15 on Strathmore, 500 series, 100% cotton, charcoal paper.
Finally back! I missed quite a few weeks. But the good news is several of my paintings have been juried into shows & I thank you, Scott, for helping me improve my drawings that has improved my paintings!
Great Scott! Tried a smaller format, 5,8 by 8,3 inches on Clairefontaine multi paper 115 lb weight. I like the texture but the paper was not heavy enough and the little cabin was blown to the seashore…. I cannot believe how much time goes by in the blink of an eye in your sessions. Merci beaucoup!!!
This looks great, Penelope. I’m happy you shared your drawing and it’s great to hear that this format works well for you. See you in the next session!
Thanks Scott. Second time I was able to draw along. This is the right format for me to learn how to draw with my cognitive issues from an accident. I posted the lightning and the ram sketches about 2 weeks late, better late than never. So excited that I am feeling more proficient and encouraged by my progress. Even my husband my harshest critic seems impressed. Artist Network is just what I was looking for. Keep up the good work
