Its hard to say everything you want to say about one subject all at once. And why should you?
Randolph, New Jersey, artist Keith Smith doesnt limit himself. For example, after he completed a watercolor painting of an iron on an ironing board, he used oils to paint on the objects themselves, creating three-dimensional sculpture. He photographed the objects, tore up the photographs and made collages out of them. Finally, he completed the evolutionary cycle by painting a large-scale oil based on the collage.
Maybe not every subject will inspire you to see what else you can do with your subject, but youll never know until you let your imagination go wild.
