About Susan Lyon:
Susan Lyon studies painting at the Academy of Art, in Chicago, and was an active participant in Chicago’s 100-year-old Pallette and Chisel Club, where she began exhibiting her work. At the age of 23 she was the youngest winner of the Club’s prestigious Gold Medal for two consecutive years. In 1998 and 2000 she won an artist choice award in the Northwest Rendezvous Show. She is a member of the the Northwest Renddezvous Group, in Helena, Montana, and has been published numerous times, including Visions and Voyages-The Art of Susan Lyon (2008). Susan lives in rural North Carolina with her husband, artist Scott Burdick.
