  1. The teacher knows his stuff, but I only found a review by Elizabeth O on 4/25/2017
    Rating

The teacher knows his stuff, but I only found a couple nuggets that furthered my "education" on art. His presentation seemed a little too casual - using pretty wet paint on what looked like typing paper that buckled during the demo. Not a big deal I suppose, but still....

  2. I love Dean Nimmer he is so knowledgeable about abstract review by Lucy T on 2/19/2017

I love Dean Nimmer he is so knowledgeable about abstract art and art period. If you are a beginner in painting or experienced this is excellent instruction. It is University level as Dean covers each of the elements in art which there are 7 of and every artist should know, or probably just doesn't realize it yet. Dean shows examples of each element and explains how they work in producing art. His philosophy is simple yet astute, I love what he says about art not being about the end product but about the journey of it. His discussion is frank and to the point. This is not a paint along video but one that is a must see. Thank you Dean for an excellent video.
