Want to be good at drawing, or at least better at it?
Maybe even a lot better?

Then this book is for you. Drawing Made Easy has two goals:

  1. To help you develop a solid drawing foundation
  2. To build your confidence with step-by-step practice examples

It also includes a bonus robot guide! Fun fact: Robots are great at drawing.

Drawing Made Easy starts at the beginning, breaking down the physical act of drawing: how to hold your pencil, which muscles to use and how to make lines. That’s followed by the fundamentals—starting with sketching, ending with shading—along with chapters on how to draw from observation and your imagination. Learn how to draw horses that don’t look like cows, people with their eyes in the correct place, cats, coffee mugs and tons of happy trees.

Find success by following along with more than 20 easy step-by-step demonstrations and 30 lessons. Learn:

  • How to use a pencil
  • Intuitive drawing
  • How to draw what you’re looking at—from a picture or real life
  • Practical tips to help you draw things from your imagination and make them believable
  • A solid base upon which to build cool new art skills
  • Robot jokes
