About the Artist:
Janie Gildow began her career in art education, and was the recipient of the Martha Holden Jennings Award for excellence in teaching. A professional artist since 1991, her colored pencil works are internationally acclaimed and have won numerous awards, and as a member of the CPSA and its Membership Director for 2 years, Janie earned Signature status and the 5-Year Award. Janie is the author of The Colored Pencil Solution Book and Colored Pencil Explorations, both published by North Light Books.
