  1. Helpful for getting basic picture without a camera. review by Helen on 6/4/2016
    Rating

Although I use a camera for reference in paintings, I found this approach useful for training the eye to identify values in the landscape. Easy to follow, clear instruction.

  2. A different technique to try. review by Alice on 2/11/2014
    Rating

I highly recommend this video. I learned so much. The technique wasn't what I expected but so very worthwhile. I'm a beginning pastelist and want to get out and paint in plein air but didn't know how to approach it. The process I learned from this video is doable. Liz's instructions are very clear and the demonstrations were great.
