I love this book! Joyce Hicks is one of my favorite artists. I am very happy to have a copy with hardcover. Thank you very much!
As a new watercolor enthusiast I found this book to be highly informative and easy to follow. The author's style of painting is beautiful.
As a beginner with water colours, and no place to take classes where I live, I am relying on books from the North Light workshop to teach me theory, concepts and techniques. I am really enjoying this book, which is very well written, and inspiring. And the early results are very pleasing! This book by Joyce Hicks, as well as the one on painting water, by Ron Hazell, are just terrific. I could not be happier with them.
