You'll see every step of how to produce a stunning watercolor cityscape, from photo reference, value sketch, and pencil drawing, to underpainting and color mixing, to delicate final details.
Some of the watercolor techniques you'll learn in this video workshop include:

A most enjoyable and informative video, and a great compliment to Michael's book.
I really enjoyed this video. Michael explains everything really well. I've never had problems with streaming. I use a cable company for our Internet and the speeds are really good.
I just loved this video. One of my absolute favorites.
This video was very helpful in learning to give cityscapes an impressionistic feeling. Love the hues Michael Reardon uses, too.
Michael Reardon takes time to explain WHY he is making a color choice or a design choice. So many artists SAY to simplify but they don't actually show how to simplify. Reardon tackles a very complex cathedral and diminishes it into the background. Very valuable cityscape instruction!
i thought this was a fantastic tutorial. i loved his explanations and simplicity in creating a beautiful painting.
Demonstrates well how to simplify. Good explanations of color use and light and shadow.
Excellent instruction and video production. I would have liked to have known the brand names of the brushes upfront that Reardon uses, however, as not all watercolor brushes are made equal. After some creative freeze-framing I was able to discern their names, for anyone else interested: #12 Escoba Perla and Da Vinci quill mops in the smaller sizes listed under materials. I'm thrilled to discover reliable vegan watercolor brushes for a change. Finally, thank you North Light for providing such excellent value in these instructional videos for such a low cost--every video I've watched so far provided expertise to help me improve as an artist.
l just bow his book a few weeks ago and have been working through his demonstrations. This video was a perfect companion. Loved it! Informative, understandable and inspiring. His work is amazing. Looking forward for more of his videos. Thank you so much.
