  5. Michael Reardon takes time to explain WHY he is making review by Marolyn S on 5/2/2017
    Rating

Michael Reardon takes time to explain WHY he is making a color choice or a design choice. So many artists SAY to simplify but they don't actually show how to simplify. Reardon tackles a very complex cathedral and diminishes it into the background. Very valuable cityscape instruction!

  8. Excellent instruction and video production. I would have liked to review by Tina B on 4/10/2017
    Rating

Excellent instruction and video production. I would have liked to have known the brand names of the brushes upfront that Reardon uses, however, as not all watercolor brushes are made equal. After some creative freeze-framing I was able to discern their names, for anyone else interested: #12 Escoba Perla and Da Vinci quill mops in the smaller sizes listed under materials. I'm thrilled to discover reliable vegan watercolor brushes for a change. Finally, thank you North Light for providing such excellent value in these instructional videos for such a low cost--every video I've watched so far provided expertise to help me improve as an artist.
