Watercolor's luminosity is uniquely suited to paint water. Just like water, watercolor is translucent. With careful observation, watercolor can also portray the shine or peaceful reflection of water perhaps better than any other medium. In this workshop, join Michael Reardon to paint a waterscape step by step, with a particular focus on capturing the light and shadow for eye-catching effects. Using a variety of watercolor painting techniques, from composition and value studies, to lessons on painting reflections and the movement of water, to multiple ways to manipulate light within your painting, this video will help you paint your favorite water scene!

I downloaded all three of Micheal's videos. I got a lot our of the landscapes vid and the cityscapes vid. The waterscapes left a lot to be desired. I wish he had spent some more time demonstrating how to sketch the boats in the scene. The reflections were also overdone in my opinion and the time could have been spent elsewhere.
Micheal's Landscapes and CItyscapes videos are much better in my opinion and I would suggest you look at one of these as opposed to looking at the waterscapes.
